My name is Luke and I am a physics student at the University of Manchester. I can tutor both maths and physics, with A-levels of three A*s and an A (in additional mathematics). For me, teaching is about connecting with your student, and making sure that they are enjoying and engaged in the learning process. Understanding complicated topics takes time, but I find that a relaxed and comfortable environment brings out the engagement and curiosity in everyone. I am very passionate about maths and physics and believe that this enthusiasm carries through into my interactions about the subjects. I also love music and art, and enjoy playing the guitar and saxophone, as well as doing pottery in my free time at home. I’m a keen sports fan and love to play 5 and 6 a-side football on the weekends.

A focus on what the student is particularly struggling with, as well as reaffirming strengths and confidence

Hello! My name is Cosmo and I’m a student at the University of Sussex working towards my bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science.
I achieved A’s in both my A-level Physics and Mathematics exams, as well as a grade 7 and 8 for my IGCSE Mathematics and Physics.
I’ve a deep love for learning and as a result, a great passion for teaching!
With now over a years experience tutoring Maths and Physics GCSE and SATS, I’m also now taking on A-level maths students because frankly, I miss the A-level topics as they’re quite fun!
As someone with dyslexia, I know all too well how challenging STEM subjects can be without the correct support. As such, students of mine benefit from a teacher who not only understands the material, but also deeply understands the personal struggle that often comes hand in hand with studying these subjects

My name is Bella and I am currently in my final year of an undergraduate degree at London Contemporary Dance School. Before this I studied at Peter Symonds College where I earned 3 A*s in A Level Maths, Chemistry and Dance and an A in A Level Physics. At GCSE level I achieved 10 grade 9s in the subjects English Literature, English Language, Maths, Latin, Spanish, Geography, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Religious Studies. I love learning and believe that every student should be supported in the way that is best for them so that they can achieve something that they are proud of. As a teaching assistant in dance I strive to show the students what they are capable of so that they can achieve their potential by tailoring the feedback and challenge I give to each student. This directly translates to academic tutoring and I’m excited to continue supporting students on their individual journeys. I am available for tutoring in A Level Maths and Chemistry, and GCSE Maths, Sciences, English and Spanish, during weekends and school holidays.

My name is Ashley, and I am currently studying Computer Science as a second year at the University of Warwick. I offer private online tuition in Mathematics, Further Mathematics (Edexcel only) and Computer Science for both GCSE and A Levels. I am willing to offer intense tuition over the Easter holiday.
I have 3 years of experience tutoring GCSE and A Level Mathematics.
I achieved 4 A*s at A-Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics. And achieved within the Top 4 in my cohort in the first year of my degree, top 50 in the country for Computer Science, and top in my year for A Level Mathematics.
